Uterine Fibroids that are 1-3 inches can be eliminated with acupuncture combined with an herbal prescription.

Many women develop benign (non-cancerous) uterine fibroids that can develop in relation to lifestyle, poor digestion, poor circulation or hormonal changes. Some of the symptoms include pelvic pain and heavy, prolonged or painful periods.

Uterine Fibroids absorb nutrition from blood circulation and can weaken the immune system. Over time, if left untreated,  a benign fibroid can develop into a more serious condition.

Case:  Woman, Age 48
Woman, 48 years old. Period stopped on 8/3/2017. She came to see me on 10/13/2017 asking me to help with restoring her menstruation. She had a 2” fibroid on the left side of her abdomen.  I did acupuncture combined with an herbal prescription, and her period came back on 11/3/2017.  She had an ultrasound done on 12/20/2017 that confirmed that the fibroid was gone.

Case:  Woman, Age 47
Woman, 47 years old, suffering from fibroids and Endometrioses with excessive menstrual bleeding lasting anywhere from 13 – 21 days each month for 8 months. She received acupuncture treatments combined with an herbal prescription from 8/9/21 to 10/22/21 (11 weeks) and her period returned to normal.

COULD YOU BE SUFFERING FROM A HERNIATED DISC IN THE SPINE?

Picture
A spinal disc herniation can occur anywhere on the spine and can be quite painful, as well as causing numbness of the legs, feet, toes, arms, hands or fingers. A disc is considered “herniated” when a disc ruptures between the bones of the spine and the soft inner portion of the disc (nucleus) protrudes outside through the hard outer ring (annulus). This causes pain when a nerve is compressed.

Numbness can occur on one side of the body or both. When numbness occurs on both sides of the body, it will take more treatments to remedy that if numbness is on one side of the body. The sooner you get treatments the better.

Case: Male, age 60
Factory worker required to stand for 30 years developed numbness in both feet and hands. The early symptoms showed up as numbness in toes, and then finally total numbness of both feet. He came to see me after he declined to have surgery. I found his problem stemming from L3,4,5 and SI (sciatica) He came in for 51 treatments until most of the numbness was gone except for some slight numbness of two toes, and at which point he was fine with that and stopped his treatments.

Case: Male, age 47
Came in for treatment after declining to have surgery. His symptoms included of numbness in one hand and 2 or 3 fingers on the other. In the beginning I did only acupuncture treatments, but then encouraged him to also take herbs, which sped up his improvement. It took around 20-30 treatments to get rid of the numbness and one hand, and the other hand he would occasionally feel some slight numbness, and at which point the patient became satisfied with the results and didn’t return.

Case:  7-year old with Tourette-like symptoms healed after 11 treatments

Cervical (neck) disorders in children can bring serious symptoms such as neck pain, migraine headaches, anxiety, and digestion problems.

This child, age 7 was experiencing symptoms with neck pain, involuntary neck and shoulder movements, and uncontrollable loud verbal outbursts.

After many failed attempts to find help for their child, the parents contacted my office on November 14, 2021 for acupuncture treatments. After thirteen (13) treatments, all symptoms have disappeared.

My assessment as to the cause of these symptoms was poor digestion that led to poor nutrition that led to poor spine development.

Note: Children are typically very receptive to acupuncture.

3 Ways To Identify Treatable Sciatica Pain

Picture
1. Lower Back Pain
2. Pain generating down leg
3. Pain and/or numbness in foot

The main cause of sciatic pain comes from a dysfunction in the pelvic that generates pain down the buttocks, sides of leg or down to the feet, where in severe cases can cause numbness. It may or may not be accompanied by lower back pain. In cases where it is experienced as lower back pain, many patients believe it is a back problem rather than a pelvic problem that often gets overlooked and misdiagnosed.

The pain is generating from the sacroiliac (SI) joints in the pelvic caused by a minor shifts (dislocations) in the pelvic caused by a number of things such as uneven leg length, trauma (giving birth or injury), arthritis or degeneration. What happens is that the pelvic bone shifts and becomes unaligned, shifting forward or backward, or gets rotated and puts pressure on the surrounding nerves and resulting in pain. If left untreated, it can become chronic and can result in toes becoming numb.

THE GOOD NEWS. Sciatica problems are curable without injections or surgery. Acupuncture treatments help get rid of the adhesions of the soft tissue that forms on the SI joints, helps to strengthen the muscles supporting the pelvic, and realigns the pelvic and releasing the nerve pain.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS AND HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? It takes about an average of 10 treatments to correct the root of the problem. For chronic conditions that have been experienced for many years or decades, it could take extra treatments. The pain-free results can last for many years. If there is a slight reoccurrence, it can easily be remedied with one or two follow-up treatments.

BACK PROBLEMS: Many back problems begin with an untreated sciatica problem. An untreated pelvic shift (SI problem) can put pressure on other parts of the spine that can cause secondary back problems. However, once the sciatica is treated, these other symptoms can easily disappear.

I’ve been successfully treating sciatica, back and neck problems for 40 years. My recommendation is that one sees an acupuncturist before opting for back surgery.

The following photos show a before/after result after just a few treatments for a patient diagnosed with Blethraspasm, an abnormal contraction or twitch of the eyelid, and Hemifacial Spasm, where the muscles on one side of your face twitch involuntarily.

Testimonial from Patient:

It began 11 years ago with a simple little flutter, and it did it for quite a while on and off. I went to my regular eye doctor we tried a bunch of things, but nothing helped.

Over time the spasms then migrated into my cheek, lip and chin area and my face muscles would pull to the left. At this time I decided to get a second opinion and was referred to a neurological ophthalmologist at Yale who gave me Botox injections in my eye area. That helped but the injections last only 8 weeks and I would have to keep going back for more injections.

We decided to stop the Botox after 9 years mainly because the condition continued to get worse. My eyelid began to twitch uncontrollably then droop as a side effect of the Botox injections. I also wasn’t feeling too good about having Botox continually injected into my face either. I’ve also been on oral medications since May 2018 and those don’t work either.

I went to see Dr. Gao at Oriental Healing a week ago out of desperation and ‘holy cow’ it has definitely lessened my symptoms. Dr. Gao is an acupuncturist from China who practices traditional Chinese medicine. Within a few treatments my spasms began to stabilize.

The photos above is results after 3 or 4 treatments.

Dr. Gao is a wonderful man.
